Submit Career Related Content to SFPE
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: August 31, 2026
SFPE is interested in showcasing what its like to study in the Fire Protection Engineering and Safety, and welcome your content. Think 'A day in the life of' a student studying to become a Fire Protection Engineer... what do you do in a typical day? Who do you interact with? Where do you go? Specifically:
- Selfie shot (from your perspective)
- 10-20 second intro – your name, college / university, educational program, and future career desires
- 30-60 seconds – how did you learn about Fire Protection?
- 30-60 second brief description of your current studies
- 30-60 second clips of specific projects/applications/research with a brief explanation (1-5 clips)
- What are you working on? What does a typical day look like for you?
- Total of 3-5 minutes total submitted, SFPE will edit full video as appropriate.
Members who submit will be entered to win a $25.00 Amazon gift card*, with a drawing at the and of the submission period. SFPE will then post the final content to the Career Connect Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Active SFPE membership
- Must be a Student Member of SFPE
- Enrolled at a college / university studying Fire Protection
- Must have permission to share video publicly through SFPE channels
